With more than 120 colleagues worldwide, we design and produce high-end solar simulators for the solar energy sector worldwide. These simulators are used by the world’s largest manufacturers of solar panels and leading R&D laboratories to ensure the quality of their panels. We ensure that they can be confident in what they produce. We are precise, resourceful and persistent.

Now that solar energy is rapidly on its way to becoming the world’s most important energy source, we want to expand our team with a Lead Engineer Electrical.


What you will do


As Lead Engineer Electrical you will lead a small, close-knit team of electrical engineers and work closely with other engineering disciplines, technicians and customers all over the world. In addition, you will design the electrical systems for our solar simulators. No day is the same.


Your tasks:


  • Leading, coaching and guiding the electrical engineers

  • Acting as the link between the individual engineers, Head of Engineering and project leaders

  • Reviewing and approving the schematics of your team members

  • Improving our design processes and standards

  • Creating concept and detailed designs of our electrical systems

  • Supporting customers and service engineers remotely (and sometimes on site)

  • Working in an informal, results-driven environment with plenty of room for initiative


Job requirements you bring:


  • Extensive experience as an Electrical Engineer within machine building

  • Experience in leading engineers

  • Experience in designing control cabinets

  • Proficiency in drawing wiring diagrams in EPLAN

  • Experience with PLC systems and networks

  • Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis or fault analysis

  • Ownership: you follow your design from concept to realization

  • Independent, proactive and you enjoy working in a technical team
